Jang & Geo Group again Geo Super Transmission is shutdown in allover Pakistan by PEMRA & Govt of Pakistan without telling any reason. Geo Super Sports got very high rating in ICC (International Cricket Club) World Cup 2011.Thus the Geo Group has once again become a victim of the Government’s revenge.
Gul Muhammad Kakar said, chairman PEMRA had been ordered to get targeted Geo Super to put it in heavy losses. Geo Super continued telecast of sports activities despite a big monetary loss but now the people have been deprived of getting the news of local sports activities. Pakistani peoples don’t watching about Sports activities Domestic & Internationally level.
According to Geo’s administration, the Government subjected the Geo Super to punishment for showing sporting events to the people.
Cheap tactics are being used to black mail Geo Super. The Govt issued order on 4 April 2011 to turnoff Geo Super in what appears to be a vengeful action of the govt against the Jang Group.
Geo Super viewers, Sportsmen & politations are very angry & they protest for Geo Supers sports channel against Govt & PEMRA. PEMRA ordered to Geo group for shutdown of Geo Super Sports Channel in Pakistan. Chairman PEMRA said that Geo Super go to another Country for On Air of this channel but not On Air through Pakistan.
